Dermatology

The dermatology market is diverse and covers a range of indications that affect the skin, hair and nails.

The major skin diseases
encompassed in this
category include acne,
psoriasis and dermatitis.

Dermo-cosmetics are gaining popularity, with the anti‑ageing and anti-wrinkle market driving growth in this area.

In 2012, the dermatological market will generate $19.4bn with a 3% CAGR from 2006 to 2012.

Sinclair has a significant dermatology portfolio which now comprises three product groups: prescriptions, OTC and dermo-cosmetics (which may be promoted to doctors, pharmacists and the public). This allows us to develop a tailored strategy for each channel, taking into consideration the different patient and promotional needs.

The Sinclair product range is built on patented technologies, many of which have a long remaining patent life.
